This consultation, published by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) on 20 August, 2012, seeks views on the UK’s implementation of the Consumer Rights Directive (CRD). The provisions in the CRD will apply, subject to some limited exceptions, to all contracts for sales of goods and services by traders to consumers, whether the transactions are within the UK or effected across EU borders.
