España y Reino Unido fijarán una posición común en la política europea de inmigración [Spain and the United Kingdom will establish a joint approach to European immigration policy]

The Spanish Minister for Immigration, Ignacio González, visited London on 3 February 2003 and met his counterpart in the United Kingdom, Beverley Hughes, the Minister of State for Citizenship, Immigration and Community Cohesion. The object of the meeting was to adopt a common approach in terms of immigration and to pursue joint policies within the European Union.
