EU and China seek closer ties at Beijing summit

The 6th Annual EU-China Summit, held in Beijing on 30 October 2003 concluded with agreement on closer economic co-operation and signed agreements paving the way for China to join Europe's Galileo satellite navigation system and for more Chinese tourists to visit Europe.
