EU announces fresh nuclear negotiations with Iran

According to the EU Foreign Policy Chief Catherine Ashton on the 5 September 2014, a new round of nuclear talks between Iran and six world powers was scheduled to be held in New York on the 18 September 2014.

By mid-October 2014 news sources suggested some progress but still obstacles to secure an agreement between Iran and EU+3 / P5+1. A self-imposed deadline of mid-November 2014 had been imposed to secure an agreement.
