EU chemicals plan ‘could save 69bn euro in health costs’

The European Union's controversial proposal on chemical testing will be the 21st century equivalent of the clear air laws of the last century, yielding health benefits that far exceed its costs, according to an economic analysis prepared for a leading environmental group, WWF-UK.
