This issue of Panorama Magazine is exclusively dedicated to the first 20 years of EU Cohesion Policy. On 24 June 1988, the Council agreed on a regulation which put existing
EU funds into the context of ‘economic and social cohesion’, a term which the Single European Act had introduced two years earlier. Since then, Cohesion Policy has become
