EU court action threat unless single airspace zone takes off

The European Commission ordered on 16 July 2015 Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg and the Netherlands to speed up the merging of their national air corridors, to cut costs for airlines and reduce fuel consumption, threatening to take them to court unless they acted in two months.
