EU joint drug buying plan may disappoint

Politico published a feature in May 2015 in which it reviewed the results and consequences of the Joint Procurement Agreement, an initiative from the European Union ratified in 2014 to encourage member states gathering for bulk-buying arrangements of medicines and vaccines.

The article highlights the limits of the mechanism, far more realistic than the initial enthusiasm shown during its ratification a year earlier.
