EU plays down Iraq force divisions

US plans to create a multinational stabilisation force in Iraq will not divide the European Union, according to the EU Greek Presidency, speaking at the informal General Affairs and External Relations Council (Gymnich), Rhodes, 2-3 May 2003. The UK, Poland and seven other European countries would be part of the force.
