The European Commission announced on 6 June 2018 a package of €1.5 million in humanitarian aid to address the needs of refugees, asylum seekers and migrants stranded in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Further information:

Around 4.900 refugees and migrants entered in the country since early January 2018, according to government estimates. EU humanitarian aid was to be provided in locations such as Sarajevo, Bihać and Velika Kladusa in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
