EU referendum: Majority of UK public wants ‘Brexit’, poll reveals

An opinion poll conducted by ORB International for The Independent newspaper in November 2015 showed that more than half of the public wanted to leave the European Union.

Media reports considered the result of the poll to reflect people's anxieties over Europe's migration and refugee crisis, in the wake of the Paris terrorist attacks.
