EU regulators avoiding controversial messaging platform

Report from EurActiv in October 2015 regarding Symphony, an online application allowing financial services to securely message each other without leaving trace.

While in the United States such platform raised the alarms with the regulators, in the European Union lawmakers were yet to fully wake up to the issue, two years after eight banks were punished with a record fine of €1.7 billion over rigging and cartel practices.
