EU set to give Commission mandate to negotiate aviation treaty with US

At the Transport, Telecommunications and Energy Council in Luxembourg from 5-6 June 2003 Member States are expected to give the European Commission a mandate to negotiate a treaty with the United States that could bring about the biggest reform in European aviation regulation since the creation of the internal aviation market in 1992.
