Book abstract: The Trade Barrier Regulation (TBR) is Europe's way of removing obstacles to trade, ensuring countries abide by the rules of international trade. It benefits individual companies and specific industry sectors, offering procedures for resolving international trade disputes. The authors assert that European industries, businesses and enterprises have failed to take advantage of the potential that the TBR offers to tackle illegal foreign trade practices. One of the primary goals of the book is therefore to contribute to the promotion of awareness throughout industry of the remarkable potential of the TBR for achieving the eradication of unfair obstacles to trade.
