EU truck safety and efficiency law faces delay until 2019

The European Commission, the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union reached an agreement on 10 December 2014 on updated rules to regulate trucks' efficiency and safety.

However, the law was set to become effective only in five years time, after the industry pushed for more time to develop new vehicles.
