Abstract: The Council of the European Union and the USA adopted a “Renewed EU-US Statement Enhancing transatlantic cooperation in the area of Justice, Freedom and Security” at the EU-US JHA Ministerial meeting in Riga on 2-3 June 2015 under the Latvian Council Presidency. The Agreement will run for five years and follows on from the "Washington Statement" adopted in 2009. |
