EU veterinary officials have lifted the ban on exports of Belgian milk from all but nine farms

Restrictions will be maintained on sales of milk from farms where tests have shown higher than permitted levels of the chemical PCB, which is an indicator of the level of cancer-causing dioxin. The ban on exports was imposed by the EU in response to the discovery of dioxin in Belgian animal feed.
