A large scale European civil protection exercise took place in France (Var) on 27 to 28 October 2002 at the camp of Canjuers. Euratox 2002 simulated the consequences of a terrorist attack involving radiological and chemical weapons. A delegation of 60 observers from the European Union attended the exercise. |
