Eurogroup meeting, 17 January 2022

Summary:

A meeting of the Eurogroup was held on 17 January 2022. It met in its regular and inclusive format. The agenda included the following items:

• Discussion concerning the state of play on the strengthening of the Banking Union;
• Update on the ratification of the revised European Stability Mechanism (ESM) treaty;
• Briefing and exchange of views on the outcome of the latest Euro Summit.
