Eurogroup meeting, 22 April 2016

A meeting of the Eurogroup was held on 22 April 2016 in Amsterdam. Its agenda included the following items:

+ Discussion on the next steps and the timeline for the completion of the first review of Greece's economic adjustment programme, following a presentation on its state of play;

+ Discussion on national insolvency frameworks which had begun in January 2016;

+ Presentation by Danièle Nouy, Chair of the SSM's Supervisory Board, on the European Central Bank's annual report on its supervisory activities in 2015 and its priorities for 2016;

+ Discussion on the progress made in harmonising supervisory options and national discretions, which are granted to the supervisory authorities under the EU capital requirements legislation - the foundation of the EU's banking union.
