Eurogroup meeting, 5 December 2016

A meeting of the Eurogroup was held on 5 December 2016. The agenda included the following topics:

+ Discussion on the eurozone member states' draft budgetary plans for 2017 and on the budgetary situation and prospects in the euro area as a whole. The discussion was based on the European Commission's opinion on the budgetary plans;

+ Briefing on the state of play of the second review of the economic adjustment programme for Greece, following the review mission which took place in mid-November;

+ Adoption of the Eurogroup's work programme for the first half of 2017.
