The education systems in Germany, France and the UK are the best in Europe for preparing their citizens for working in a knowledge-based economy, in spite of receiving significantly less money than those in Sweden, Finland and Denmark, according to a report 'Skills for the future' from Accenture and the Lisbon Council. The report examines the imperative of bringing government, business and individuals together to develop the skills and human capital Europe needs to excel in a fast-moving global economy.
