Communication adopted by the European Commission on 30 June 2022, setting out a vision for its own digital transformation.
Building on the previous digital strategy of the European Commission (2018), the updated strategy provides a corporate approach aimed at further streamlining existing IT initiatives, refocusing on digital modernisation and innovative service provision. It is based on guiding principles, such as digital by default and once-only, security and privacy, openness and transparency, interoperability and cross-border, and user-centric, data-driven and agile.
