European Council October 2016: Prime Minister’s press statement

The United Kingdom Prime Minister Theresa May gave a statement after the European Council meeting in Brusels, 20-21 October 2016. She highlighted that the subjects covered included migration, Russia and trade.

The subject of the UK leaving the EU was only given minor focus in the meeting. Neverthelss, there was much commentary on the Brexit issues in secondary news sources (see related url hyperlinks).
