Europe’s biggest companies are worried that exemptions they were granted in principle from key parts of an overhaul of derivatives markets could be jeopardised as regulators struggle to implement global financial reforms.

The development is the latest sign that the time it is taking to implement post-crisis reforms of such markets is creating uncertainty that businesses are struggling to cope with.
