European investment is playing a major role in helping deliver Next Generation Broadband to 96% of Wales’ homes and businesses by 2016, the Welsh Government Finance Minister Jane Hutt said on the 22 April 2014. Superfast Cymru, a partnership between Welsh Government and BT, builds on commercial roll-outs of fibre broadband in the country with the Welsh Government’s aim being that 96% of homes and businesses will have access to fibre broadband by 2016. |
