European Journal of Migration and Law:

This new quarterly journal is the initiative of the Centre for Migration Law of the University of Nijmegen, in co-operation with the Brussels-based Migration Policy Group. It has special emphasis on the European Union, the Council of Europe and migration activities within the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe. It differs from other migration journals in this field by focusing on both the law and policy within the field of migration, as opposed to examining immigration and migration policies from a wholly sociological perspective. It has a cross-disciplinary approach, including migration and social issues, as well as socio-legal and meta-judicial perspectives and it aims to provide a forum for debate on existing and new law on a European level linking the European and national debates. The Editors aim to provide full coverage of the main elements of the political debate and the relevant case law of the European Court of Justice and the European Court of Human Rights.

The journal has six structured sections: an editorial, each issue focusing on a particular theme with a particular expert providing an in-depth and comprehensive analysis; news and information from the institutions; news and information from the non-governmental sector; in-depth articles on each theme; legislation and recent cases; and a book review section.
