Major developments are taking place on the web site of the European Ombudsman. Any citizen, business or association of a Member State of the EU may complain to the Ombudsman about maladministration by a Community institution or body. The standard form may be downloaded from the web, but the site also includes other publications of the Office, the 1997 annual report and full text of some of the important decisions made since 1995. Future developments planned are to include bibliographic references to titles relating to the work of the European Ombudsman; summaries of all decisions made, to be updated on a weekly basis, with only the more important examples appearing in full text in the Annual Report; electronic submission of the complaints form; an increased number of links and the addition of press releases with, where possible, links to the resulting articles.
