European Region of the International Gay and Lesbian Association (ILGA Europe)

ILGA-Europe is the European Region of the International Lesbian and Gay Association (ILGA). It enjoys consultative status with the Council of Europe and is a member of the Platform of European Social NGOs and the Pink Triangle Coalition. ILGA-Europe aims to promote lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered people's rights within the policies of the European Union. It works to influence the institutions of the European Union in order to gain full equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered people in the European Union and in all Member States. ILGA-Europe is receiving core funding from the European Commission.
