Book abstract: The aim of the European Yearbook is to promote scientific study of a number of international organisations and their work. Under the auspices of the Council of Europe, it publishes information about European organisations and the OECD to the exclusion of the European organs or Commissions of the United Nations and the Specialised Agencies which have their own publications. The text is published in French and English. Chapters feature such organisations as EFTA, European Central Bank, European Conference of Ministers of Transport, International Commission on Civil Status, European Patent Organisation, Council of Europe and a host of others.
