EU’s open door

Member States have agreed to hold a constitutional Convention in 2002, bringing together European and national Parliamentarians, government representatives and representatives from candidate Member States. The editorial welcomes the fact that this debate will not be held behind closed doors as has so often happened in the past, but in the full public gaze.
