This report presents the results of an evaluation of 29 “mainline” railway projects, selected from the Bank’s portfolio of 48 railway projects financed in the European Union (EU-15) during the period 1990-2000. The total loan value of this portfolio amounted to EUR 14 billion, or almost double the amount of the previous decade. |
