	Summary: This study evaluates the use of the European Social Fund (ESF) to support lifelong learning (LLL) during the 2000-6 and 2007-13 programming periods. LLL encompasses a broad range of interventions in support for individuals that has a longer term objective of sustainable employment with ongoing and planned support aimed at enhancing skills, learning and employability.
