Fact Check: is 80% of UK fish given away to the rest of Europe?

This features checks the accuracy of a statement made by Nigel Farage, UKIP leader, on the 2015 general election campaign trail in which he said that as a result of membership of the Common Fisheries Policy, the UK was now allowed to catch less than 20% of the fish that swim in British waters. The other 80% the UK has given away to the rest of Europe.
