Farming reforms ‘could reduce beef industry by 20%’

Peter Barr, Chairman of the (UK) Meat and Livestock Commission warned on 28 January 2004 that the UK beef industry could shrink by almost 20% by 2010 as reforms of the European Union's Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) are introduced.
