The Irish Business and Employers Confederation, the main business group in Irerland, has warned in August 2011 against further austerity measures in Ireland.

The comments came amid concerns that a slowing US economy could hurt Irish exports, the engine of the recovery in Ireland so far, and fears about the impact of the crisis in the eurozone.
