Finland backs contentious German treaty plan

Report of a FT interview with Matti Vanhanen, Prime Minister of Finland, April 2010. He said that Finland was sympathetic to controversial German proposals for a fresh European Union treaty if necessary to enforce fiscal and economic discipline in the eurozone after the Greek debt crisis.
