First progress report on the action plan for border regions

On 29 November 2003, the European Commission adopted the first progress report on the action plan for regions bordering the applicant countries. The action plan proposed a series of measures to help border regions in Germany, Greece, Austria and Finland to prepare for enlargement of the Union.
