Foreign Affairs Council, 12 November 2019

Summary:

A meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council was held on 12 November 2019. On this occasion, the meeting focused on matters related to Defence. The agenda includes the following items:

  • State of play of preparations for forthcoming NATO Leaders' Meeting.
• Discussion on the state of CSDP deployments.

The European Defence Agency's steering board held a meeting before the start of the Foreign Affairs Council. During that meeting, a signing ceremony took place to mark the transfer of the PESCO project chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) Surveillance as a Service (CBRN SaaS) into the Agency’s framework.
