...agreed this week to give a rapid boost to the EU's military capabilities by putting the WEU's assets at the Union's disposal. At their meeting in Luxembourg this week, WEU ministers agreed to give the EU direct access to the security organisation's military staff, satellite centre and the group's defence studies institute.
