Foreign Office attacked over ‘biased’ single currency poll

The UK Foreign Office released the results of an opinion poll on 5 December 2001 suggesting that opposition to joining the euro was far less entrenched that in other surveys. Government ministers were accused by anti-single currency campaigners of asking biased questions.
