France to support private ‘crowdfunding’

	EurActiv reported that the French Finance Minister Pierre Moscovici introduced in September 2013 a proposal for a new law that would aim to make the practice of pooling resources to fund private ventures easier and more competitive. The article says the lack of rules governing so-called 'crowdfunding' in EU Member States has prompted the European Commission to announce new legislative proposals for 2014.
