France’s GM veto ruled wrong

Judgment of the European Court of Justice in Case C-6/99: Association Greenpeace France and Others v Ministère de l'Agriculture et de la Pêche and Others. France has been told by the European Court of Justice that it has no right to block sales of three genetically modified (GM) crop varieties which have won EU approval.
