French body blames renewables for EU power market failures

The General Commission for Strategy and Forecasting (Commissariat général à la stratégie et à la prospective - CGSP), a French advisory body to the prime minister, published a report on the 28 January 2014 stating that Europe's electricity system was not living up to its promises and blaming renewable energy subsidies for this failure.
