French duck is ‘likely’ flu case

The French farming ministry reported 17 February 2006 a dead duck found near Lyon "very probably" had the deadly H5N1 strain of bird flu. The result makes it the seventh country in the European Union, including Slovenia, Greece, Italy, Germany and Austria, to confirm cases.
