German Euroskeptic party on verge of splintering

Politico and other media sources reported in May 2015 on internal conflicts rocking the German AfD party. On 18 May 2015, co-founder Bernd Lucke threatened to quit the party, lamenting the far-right influence in AfD's ranks.

Such instability might bring consequences in the position of this party's MEPs within the European Parliament.
