Article reported that Germany’s Interior Minister Hans-Peter Friedrich said in November 2011 that the country might be facing 'a new form of far-right terrorism' amid anger that a group linked to the killing of at least 10 people went undetected for more than a decade.

A previously unknown organisation calling itself the National Socialist Underground had in recent days been linked to a string of murders in six German cities between 2000 and 2006, in which eight men of Turkish origin and one Greek were shot dead. It is also suspected of involvement in killing a police officer in 2007 as well as a number of bank robberies.
