Global Spying Network. Turkey’s Worldwide Monitoring of Suspected Gülen Supporters

Media sources published reports in 2017 on a growing network of spies sponsored by Turkey's government to collect material on Turkish nationals around the world, in particular those seen as opposing Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

German authorities announced they were investigating 20 Turkish citizens on suspicion of conducting espionage in the country.
