	A new strategy to boost strong, sustainable, long-term economic growth in the UK was announced on 7 January 2010. The strategy, 'Going for Growth', outlines seven key areas where the Government will build on the foundations of 'New Industry, New Jobs', a strategy launched by the Government in April 2009. Please note that while some of the policies in this paper are specific to England, the challenges are common across the four countries of the United Kingdom.
