The Greek far-right party is attempting to hide its roots in Nazi ideology as several party members prepared to go on trial. Golden Dawn has seen its rise on the European political scene come to a halt in the wake of an investigative crackdown following the murder of the anti-fascist rapper Pavlos Fyssas by a party member in Nikaia in September 2013.

The trial was started in April 2015 but was almost immediately adjourned. The trial resumed on the 7 May 2015.
